Will the networks send reporters to Cozumel and Can ?
We all witnessed the ratings war with Dennis. Do you think the networks will send reporters out for live reports on Emily? Do you think they realize what a Cat 4 can do? I hope ratings don't endanger someone's life!

There will be American journalists there. You can bet on it. There are no shortage of journalists, nor news directors, willing to put people in harm's way to get a good story. If you have reporters willing to embed themselves with soldiers on the front lines in Iraq, don't you think they'd be willing to gut out a Cat 5???
You can bet that Geraldo will be there. But he probably won't want to give Emily's exact coordinates out over the airwaves since he's already been in trouble for that once before.

I wonder if it's even possible to get the neccessary equipment in time to cover the landfall in time, assuming it lands in Mexico. I've been to Cozumel before, and the roads outside the city leave some to be desired. I don't know if the networks are going to risk expensive satellite trucks all the way down there, especially given the infrastructure of the area. On the other hand, if one network is known to be sending a big crew to cover it, the others are going to follow.
