TORNADO EMERGENCY IN SOUTHEAST OK CITY

#1 Postby WXBUFFJIM » Thu May 08, 2003 5:29 pm

Moore is in the path of a tornado that has been confirmed. A very LARGE TORNADO IS IN PROGRESS. Tinker airforce base is in the path of this. Similar track to may 3rd, 1999. Once again southeast OK CITY is underneath a tornado emergency. Seek underground shelter.

that is not good! They are still rebuilding from the May 3rd, 1999 tornado.

How ironic, five days after the four year anniversary of the Oklahoma City Tornado and in the same general area. :o :(

A large tornado ripped through Oklahoma City Thursday afternoon, lifting buildings off their foundations, toppling 18-wheelers and pummeling a General Motors (search) plant. At least 118 people were injured.

20 of these people are injured critically.

No word on any deaths yet.
