Well, NOGAPS is still mexico although it clears the Yucatan and not far from Cuba. You have based your forecast on the models, thats a model that shows a Mexico hit. Mexico is still very possible, not doubtful at all.

CMC Canadian takes Emily to around Brownsville it looks like. But it can't even close off a low after about 72 hours. Not even gonna go indepth...

The Canadian... Well it looses it at the Surface over the southern GOM (I know surprise, surprise!) However, as you can see at the 850MB level it takes Emily into the Central Texas Coast.

Well wouldn't it go further north if it's a strong cane since they have a tendency to move poleward.

Yeah, CMC has been losing the low now for a couple of runs now... only good thing (and when you think about it maybe it's not so good) you can say about it that it was consistent with the 12Z run...
