Emily follows Opal?

Didn't Opal first cross the Yucatan Peninsula and eventually make landfall on the Florida Panhandle, around where Dennis just struck? Could Emily do the same or was that a very unusual movement?

is that a 20 there? 20 storms? if so, my goodness! someone throw some tomato sauce on that map of spaghetti!
as for emily following opal: sounds like the climate patterns are very different. after arlene, cindy, and dennis, we n gulf folks do not need any more!

Notice how LA, MS, AL does not have one lick on them that year despite the huge number of storms that year.

There was a MASSIVE trough that picked up Opal... and that was in Early October. Not gonna happen this time. If this hits the U.S., it hits Texas.
