Well, personally, I believe the winds are higher... around 100 mph. A) I have a hard time disagreeing with the calibrated recon instruments and B) dropsondes within the area indicate that the surrounding pressure is much higher and that the sub 1000mb pressure are in a very compact area leading me to believe that the pressure gradient with Emily is really tight.

I am sorry about this im just hoping this storm stays weak because my friends are in the vicinity and I dont want Cozumel or Jamaica getting whacked.
