Those reports are two hours old. The storm is wraping tightly at this moment. They are taking the northwest quad right now.

Also Charley 2 hours before landfall had a wind field of 30 miles hurricane force winds. With 105 mile tropical storm force wind. As it was moving inland. When its core was going down to around 6 to 8 nmi its hurricane force winds was 25 nmi with tropical storm force 85 nmi.
So Emily wind field is about as big as Charleys.

Also here is a hrd surface wind map. It shows that your area only had 30 mph winds.
