Emily now moving more toward the northwest

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I can also attest to the fact that none us "oldtimers" want anything to do with a cat2 or higher cane.

Wishcast on something else..

OK, I wish Texas would finally beat Oklahoma in football this season.

How's that?

Ok....Being from Texas Originally, I have to fully agree to this one!! I "wishcast" that every time someone wishcasts a storm, the greater the chance that Texas WILL beat the Sooners!!!

Actually the lower and middle Texas coast will probably be in it...;)

We have to get everyone on the same page here

The Tx coast is broken up into three areas

Middle runs from about Corpus to south of Sargent. Sargent on north is upper (per the NHC). I'm not sure of the exact southward starting point for middle...but I think it's Corpus or Port Aransas. I am sure though that the northern point of the middle Texas coast is south of Sargent...because they reference Sargent as the upper Texas coast.

It is almost like the squall line headed for Puerto Rico cut a path for Emily and she followed it.

The NW bounce could even take Emily north of Grenada...

Forget Old Mexico, Texas or NOLA...... I am going out on a limb that this will be a Florida Panhandle event.

Apparently something terrible has gone wrong in Pensacola.

Just my unprofessional, most humble guess. This is not an official forecast. Look to your local weather, local E.O.C. and/or the NHC for lifesaving information. Maybe you could look at The Weather Channel too, but then maybe not. Of course if that CNN Anderson dude shows up down your street with his cohort John, then you really need to check in with the experts for guidance, it could mean real trouble for you.
