Looks like this squall line its loosing its punch. Don't think is going to be nearly as bad as in St. Marteen with this particular line. At least in this neck of the woods. Northeast part of the island will see the worst. IMO

The preview is over, it's here. And it's not the intensity of the rain, though it is very intense (where the heck is my cat??), it's coming in ever increasing waves of stronger stronger and I wish I'd had everyone leave with me from the restaurant tonight, minutes ago :(

We're getting enough wind that things are banging/flying around, Luis....how strong is this supposed to be??

Those winds from a squall are around 35-40 mph.Thankfully the line has weakened because sometimes they are stronger around 40-45 mph.

The rain has arrived to San Juan with some gusts betweeen 20-25 mph.But there is more to come as I see at radar.

during the squall here, someone in Anguilla ( 8 miles away) repoarted wind gust of 46 mph.. steady winds 25-35 mph.
I can tell you things were banging around our house too.

It has subsided now into a fairly strong, though much more gentle rain...thanks msbee! because at the start rain and wind were hitting in THREE directions here and it was a bit unsettling. RatCat came back in when the rather crazy wind went away and we're all tucked up enjoying rain on the roof (rather than screaming wind and rain coming in every side!) Luis, your calm must have touched the system!

What I am seeing now is a lighting display just NW of San Juan but at least it is more calm now.But I see another line just east of the city that will come in minutes.After that one things will calm down here in the capital of Puerto Rico.

All has calmed here with no wind.Around 1 inch in San Juan.
