You can see that on satellite. It's something to post from inside the disc...

I can relate to that, Barbara.

Some years ago, we had a similar experience in Barbados. TS Iris was pretty far northwest of us and we thought everything was fine until suddenly, without warning a fierce south-westerly wind accompanied by heavy rain and loud peals of thunder came a calling. I think it only lasted about 20 minutes, then everything returned to normal. Very strange experience.

Holy cow! That looks pretty fierce for being so distant.

it was the same here. now it is calm. no wind. light rain. but what a fierce squall. We got 1.5 inches of rain in less than an hour and had wind gusts up to 40 MPH.
and Emily is over 300 miles away.
amazing!

I don't think it's over yet. Just a little respite. The lagoon was FIERCE !! And the winds?
Does it seems as Emily is tracking a bit north now?
Oh yeah, Luis, it should be by you now !!
Getting off again,

Earlier today, Emily's northern band was sheared off and we are getting the weather now.
Cheers
