#1 Postby Matt-hurricanewatcher » Wed Jul 13, 2005 2:46 am

When do you think it will be upgraded? It now has a 1.5/1.5...In has formed a LLC under a area of convection. What time will this upgrade come???

I say 11am... :)

I say 5 PM if at all today. They are usually very slow about upgrading that far out in the Tropical Atlantic. Of course nothing would surprise me this year. :D

I will be more sure about it once a quickscat(It has missed it the last 12 hours) shows it to have a defined LLC. The satellite I do have shows a nice system developing out there.

The T number puts it right under the deep convection...So its very close to becoming one.

There is something seriously wrong with that website's satellite loops.

I said Friday, but it might be over the weekend. It has some work to do. Outflow needs to improve greatly.
