In his video today he still insists that soon to be Franklin will be a SE east coast hit. Anywhere from Florida to Virginia should watch this storm. Any thoughts of what you all think TC6 will do?

I'm not buying it, although I can't rule it out either - not for a day or two at least.
This will be an interesting test of his teleconnections idea. He argues that the strong ridge over Japan implies the Atlantic ridge being similarly strong in the 6-10 day timeframe, which would imply that if this develops, it would make a turn north, but then turn back west under the ridge, Andrew-style.
It's certainly possible.

BTW, gotta give him props for his tone the last couple of days. If he sticks with the way he's presented things in the past couple of videos, I have no beef with him personally (still pissed at Accuweather, of course).

a TROPICAL DEPRESSION IS VERY LIKELY WITHIN THE NEXT 24-36 HOURS AND THEN A STORM "FRANKLIN" WITHIN 48 HOURS AND A HURRICANE IN 72 HOURS. ALL MODELS HAVE THIS BEING THE FORCAST AND A EAST COAST HIT IS VERY POSSIBLE AS THE MIDATLANTIC RIDGE MOVES TO THE NORTH ALLOWING A NORTHERLY TRACK TOWARD THE CAROLINAS BY LATE NEXT WEEK. JOE B. MIGHT BE ON TO SOMETHING HERE. I THINK WE SHOULD RESPECT HIS IDEA AND TAKE IT TO MIND AND KEEP A STRONG EYE ON THIS SYSTEM AS IT BECOME TD6 LATER TODAY OR TOMM.

>>That man is so ego driven. I hate that fox news gets reports from him.
Uhm, exactly what other personality on Fox news is NOT ego driven? That's the slightly edgy testosterone news station last time I looked. They were reporting in a way that I could only come to a certain conclusion. I guess Colmes is fairly mellow and maybe Van Susterin (sp?). But the rest of the afternoon & evening lineup - Smith, Cavuto, Hannity, O'Reilly, etc. NOT EGO DRIVEN?!!?!?!?!?!?!?
Wow.

The same could be said about any cable network.

Indeed it could. But the point was why does Fox let an ego-driven weather guy get on air. To me, that was bizarre considering all the other on-air personalities on Fox. Bastardi and Fox is a perfect match IMHO.
>>Can I please just go to one forum where the merits / bias of fox news is not argued? Please???
Keep looking. If you think you're going to shut me up with rolling eyes, that's on you. I watch Fox from time to time. But the post in question drew an incomplete conclusion. I filled in the blanks. If you didn't like it, how about you just don't say anything? Fair?
