YAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I got my power back on

Two days this time. Much better than the 13 days after Ivan, but it still sucked

BTW, no damage from Dennis. Some limbs down and a few shingles missing but that's it.

Thanks HURAKAN, the last minute wobble saved me. For all you wobble haters, it can be a good thing. (of course bad for the folks a few miles to my east)

Ok let's think about this for a minute. Dennis is 300 miles from land moving NW at 14 mph.... wobble to the north, wobble to the west, wobble to the northwest... they all added up to a NW track. If we're going to talk about wobbles.... make one sticky for them. I agree as it gets closer to land the wobbles are more important.

Did you still do the 'Power On' dance? I ran around the house after getting mine back after 6 days.

You know it, unless you've been there you just don't know. It's a great feeling to have power again. I had the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. At least since I got power after Ivan :-)

We just got our power back this morning, It came on last night and was on for about a half hour, then it went out again. At least for a couple of nights, there was a breeze blowing, and I took advantage of it, by sleeping in the backyard. I also took got cool by going to the hospital and visiting my Mom
We got lucky with the damage too...only had two trees down. Our new roof held out real well. not a sinle shingle missing or even ruffled up.
