Im Sure you do that all the time..I was going strickly going on his shaky hand stopping (Franklin) and driving him in into FL...And the other 10 day forecast line driveing him thru the Yukatan...Please

Yeah, I'm him in disguise. Surely you've got better stuff than that. And yeah, I put friggin Xmas mug (sic) on my head all the tim

So now you're telling me you were going by a shaking hand driveing (sic) him thru (sic) the Yukatan (sic). Heh. But in the post I was referencing, you clearly noted, Saying Emily heads to TX and (Soon to be Franklin) Heads for FL...JB is on the prowl...

So what is it? Did Joe B say Emily heads to TX and (Soon to be Franklin) Heads for FL or are you making that assumption in an attempt to run someone down to make yourself look good?

Here's the deal: A short-cut storm is a storm that basically cuts (WNW) over toward the Carolinas rather than coming up at them from the South or Southeast. What I got from the video is that he thought Franklin to be was likely to move further north than wherever Emily goes.

FWIW, Bastardi lost some credibility with me for his Dennis call. That doesn't mean I don't respect him. It just means I'm going to continue to only factor in his comments that I see along with everyone else's that I rely on - thus, he's not getting any extra weight. But for the people who run him down for fun, you'd think the least they could do is present the reality of what was presented in that video rather than trying to get some board-cred for bagging on Bastardi.

Steve...he has not been right in 3 years? I used to love him to and i WAS paying 15.00 a month to listen and read the guy..he has gotten worse every year..Tell me a storm last year that he was even close on...I can't remember one...Then when I wanted to cancel they said I was under contract!! What the Heck? I had to cancel my friggin Debit card just to get MOFO's to stop debiting me...

Ever notice how more often than not these independents are put to shame by the NHC? Seems like they would just agree with the big fellas and be right from time to time.

He was pretty good in 2002 and decent with Cindy this year. But I don't rely on him for landfalls. Look, we've known each other on the web for a long time, so hopefully you know I'm just playing with you a little. I also used to give my $15/month, but they'll not see that money from me again. Bastardi should get his rightful criticism (e.g. Dennis). And Accuweather should get theirs as well for trying to compromise the public for their profit. The two are intertwined. I just happen to hate Accuweather where I don't hate Bastardi.

No hard feelings btw.

It's available for free on Yahoo:

http://weather.yahoo.com/vidindex/index.html

Trust me, I wouldn't be paying to watch it.

As far as I know JB was the first to predict the loop Ivan made off the east coast and head back into the Gulf last year.

It was the UKMET that showed it first and I think Joe had caught onto the idea that it might happen that way. It was a good call.

Me neither. Those days are over. I'll take the videos for free and any tidbits that people want to put on on Joe. I'm not going to personally bash him, but he does kind of leave himself open for all that with his agenda vs. the NHC (per x-y-no's recent posts). Personally, I'd love to see him leave Accuweather and go to work with someone else. That company would fester on the vine. And again, sorry for coming off like a blankhole. I just wanted you to substantiate the first post.

Peace out.
