The GFDL places it 100 miles north of the Dominican Republic with borderline cat-3 winds on Friday night.

Like I said before there are many amateurs here and then there are more experienced posters. Some posters that posted about wobbles really thought they were important and it's everybodys duty as weather enthusiasts to educate the less knowledgeable rather than make fun of them. Yes some people are people I disagree with but many more that are painted as such are not. Bottom Line ,it's all about Respect :)

Nope, if I wanted it, it'd be wobbling NW or so.
I hope it wobbles and goes north, away from land.

I was making a point ,hence mine.IE the :) It was a coincidence that I used the post I used, nothing to do with you. I read a lot of posts in every forum especially this one and I am noticing a "trend" thats not tropical. S2K started out with a handful of members and we have grown leaps and bounds. It has been stated time and time again that we are a diversified group of individuals when it comes to our understanding of the weather. This being said every member here from the newbie that wants to know how tropical cyclones form to the tropical guru who knows why a stadium eye occurs and how many times and why it happened deserves the same level of respect. I understand it is fun to joke but to be the butt of that joke is not always as fun. All I am asking is use judgment and consider someones feelings and level of expertise before we start insulting some directly or in directly. Ignorance can be forgiven. Stupidity has no cure. Thanks :P

As I noted on the analysis board, tropical models (0Z) allgenerally south of PR while the GFS, GFDL and especially the UKMET are north of the Island.

FWIW, EC @ 12Z was under Cuba in a week. We'll see.

No rest for the weary
