Hurricane Track is out and about - interesting stuff with the "wind tower" I think... And maybe even live video at landfall - if they can figure out where that'll be!!

Here's the video from last night in Gulf Shores:

And here's the link to the web page:

And now from Perdido Key - with real-time WX data from the "tower". Also, a video link with recent conditions...

Yeah, it'd be much better with sound!! However, I did get the feeling I was driving through this stuff right along with them!

Anyone know where they are? I believe they may just have crossed into Florida but I am not familiar enough with the area and if that is the case PB is a pain to get around because of the bridges. gotta go watch, sound or no sound. Mark is just nuts

Just hoping the power lines/poles they parked right under don't fall on them.

At about 3:22pm my time they moved the truck, that sign looked like it was ready to fly off, perhaps they realized hat they were a bit too close, looked like they parked right across the street...

Anyone have a clue where they are? They recently turned the truck around in the middle of the road. I am trying to figure out if they are near Perdido Key, FL or further east??

Thanks,
Brent

Looks like a pile of debis at the bottom left of the screen maybe, so perhaps they are near Grand Lagoon.

Good use of Technology - and as a suggestion they need a compass on the web cam image.

Mark just sent me an email!

In Perdido Key- everything looks great here. No damage to speak of. No surge at all.

That is great news. We were supposed to be in Perdido Key this week!
