Dennis to stall well inland
They were saying on TWC that there is no system to push Dennis out and that they will have rain at least into next Saturday. I just feel so bad that this will delay recovery for the people who are going to be so hard hit by this storm. Not to mention the possibility of increased flooding. My question is this going to be constant rain or just intermittent. What happens when a system stalls?

Please change the subject to "Dennis to stall well inland"
Folks might perceive it's stalled and have a momentary heart attack.
Thanks!!

Which would be a nightmare for the Appalachians and the SE, having just had a visit from Cindy and a lot of rain prior to that too. The ground is saturated. There's no place for the rains to go.

That happened with my family (in East Cent. FL) with Jeanne and Frances last year. We got to do Ivan up here without their participation, and of course they had Charley.

Watch this northward motion... I think it's going to push it farther east into Alabama, maybe close to Ivan's track and it's stronger.

HUSH YOUR MOUTH, young man!!!!!!!!!! You remember how much fun we had with Ivan. We don't need that again...especially not so close to Cindy's visit.

Sorry everyone. I hate when people tease on the subject line. Didn't realize how it would sound. I don't see how to edit the subject line.
