indeed there are many folks in trouble, Joe. Hopefully, they will find a structurally strong building, like a church or something.

Whether or not this reaches category 5, this is a strong 4 that according to the latest reports is still strengthening. Obviously you don't want to have 4 like Andrew (now reclassified as a 5) that's blowing up as it's coming over land. The damage from this thing is going to be BAD whether it's 145 with the pressure dropping off or 155...

Uh... right now it's MUCH stronger than Ivan.

Pensacola to Destin is going to get devastated. It's going to have to make a hard left turn to go up into Mobile.

It won't be a Cat 5... the symmetry isn't perfect anymore and it looks a tad ragged.

HOWEVER... it's still a Very Dangerous Category Four Hurricane. It should not be taken lightly.

slow joe, you should have dragged them away kicking and screaming!! , when Hugo rolled through here, there wasn't one mobile home that was unscathed. This storm looks to race inland and bring hurricane force winds hundreds of miles inland. Charlotte received 90-100 mph winds from Hugo.
