latest satellite imagery looks like Dennis is going through an EWRC... probably that last before landfall... we'll have to see what this will do for him strength-wise

Nope...Its not going through in fact what your seeing is that the eye has gotten really small. On radar it shows it had red all the way around. It is at its strongest it ever was.

sorry but I really think he's going through one now... even if he's not, he's sure not getting stronger right now... looks very ragged

Yeah Derek Ortt was just talking in another thread about Dennis going through a ERC. Just finishing up though.

..I actually think that one is underway right now - some more intense convection on the N/ NE side of the eyewall noticably further from the centre - could this be the beginning of the second eye wall to replace the current one?
