Impressive moisture feed into Dennis

Dennis is still sucking moisture into his circulation from the deep tropics. Key West long range radar show an impressive feed of moisture from beyond Cuba from the Caribbean Sea. Key West has had winds in excess of tropical storm force now for at least 24 hours. Dennis has a large circulation and areas affected by the hurricane can expect stormy conditions to last a while.........MGC

This unanswered post is actually a very excellent and pertinent observation. I often speak of the "draw" a storm has to its south and moist side. This one looks like it is tapping an entire monsoon trough all the way south to the Caribbean...

Dennis is also getting moisture from the Atlantic and GS.Camille had the Caribbean feed only.

Anyone else notice how rediculously big Dennis's cloud pattern is? His outflow stretches from GA to the Caribbean.

On my trip today we ran into some nasty storms in Birmingham. Was hard to believe it was related to Dennis when the weather radio said it was still far out in the Gulf.

Here in Eastern Palm Beach COunty we had 2 squalls come through;
6:30 AM today and 11:45 PM tonight.
Kind of weird, as it came near and just as it left.....
BIG circulation
