That looks fantastic! How often do you update the model map?

Skeetobite,
Those maps, like all of the maps I've seen from you, are outstanding. I think those are the best ones I've seen to date. Keep up the good work, and I hope you feel encouraged to make more (and keep posting them!) Thanks :D

This map updates instantly when a new model or NHC discussion is released. The version you see here is not dynamic. We may have a Dynamic version live on our site by late tonight.

Note that our maps include the entire path of each storm since the storm became named and is color coded for intensity betwen plots.

The map that shows the county outlines is very helpful.

Nice maps, but I don't understand why you don't have them posted on your site. The maps there still show Dennis as a Cat2.

Just asking.

We like to give you folks a quick look first. Many valuable insights have been gained from the users of Storm2K.

Our street level maps are due next at skeetobite.com/weather. These maps are rendered and annotated by hand. They will be out soon.

They are terrific in true SkeetoBite fashion. I have one suggestion. Can you overlay the lats and longs? I think that would be very helpful.

Thanks and great job,
Lynn

Ok. Cool.

I have to admit I like the maps on your page right now better. They're much more localized with place names that I can relate to.
