This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Anyone interested in Dr. Bill Williams model track?

#1 Postby Guest » Sat Jul 09, 2005 5:25 pm

He just released his 4:40pm model update...

1) NW track....

2) Landfall Sunday 3:30pm East end of Dauphin Island, Upper Cat 3 or
Low Cat 4

3) Eye continuing NW accross South Mobile County moving into southern MS.

Wish I could provide the link, but his is a commercial site. I have 100% confidence in this forecast based on his history. Good luck all my fellow weather buddies, we are gonna get slammed hard. I'll continue to post as much as possible.

Yes

He accurately forecasted landfall for Juan, Danny, Georges, and would have on IVAN had it not made that last jog at the coast.

Yes he is..

And I trust his forcasts too. When we lived in Fairhope and GS he predicted alot of the storms in the late 90's that got close to us.

I hope he's wrong this time. I got family all over the place in that area.

He has a Terrific Track Record. My Son lives in Pascagoula, and quotes him many times.

He is definitely not afraid to go out on a limb, and usually he's very accurate. Wish I could get the link to that model they use. It's called the BLOWH or something like that.

I know I have just joined a couple days ago and I'm about 2000 miles from the hurricane, but everyone down by the Gulf coast, stay safe!
