I live in Oxford, Mississippi which is north Mississippi. Right now we are having the heaviest rain I ever recall seeing- simply pouring down with the rain at an angle which makes it clear this is tropical in origin. This storm is causing heavy rain from south Florida to north Mississippi- starting to get a bad feeling about its power.

I have a question and a comment.
Anyone know where I can find a map of the evac zones for the coast?
Also, the casinos still being open is dangerous and stupid!

Okay, I take that back. You can get directly to Hancock Cty's from that site. Clicking on Jackson or Harrison counties takes you to county websites.

So:

HARRISON COUNTY: http://co.harrison.ms.us/eoc/harrisonfull.pdf

How much a certain orifice puckers because you are stressed out, tense, scared, etc.

It's been HOT and HUMID here today (90 miles or so north of Gulfport). Noticed the clouds building in from the east this morning into this afternoon. Sky turned dark around 5 and we had strong east winds. Some rain and thunder now.

I'm starting to get a bit worried here. Although the track is supposed to be to our east, I'm worried that it may move closer this way and put us in the real nasty stuff. Lastest visible shows his wnw jog well and that only puts MS in more danger! As it stand now, local weather forecast is calling for our winds here to be as high as 60 mph sustained with gusts to 80! I can only imagine how bad it might get if Dennis decides not to visit FLorida or Bama and sets his sights on MS
