Husband is aggravated at me cause I won't put all the important papers in a box NOW and put it in the van NOW!
Just don't wanna do it if its going to FL/AL line and we just get TS stuff...we won't leave for that.....winds out of the north aren't bad...its the south that bothers me... I'm way too close to the water one house between me and the Gulf.

That diving trough south of Louisiana has stopped and is retreating. Ack.
Lived through the eye of Frederic (Lucedale, MS) in 1979. I remember the day exactly like it was yesterday. September 12, 1979. Saw pine trees flying by the window. 100 year old oaks layed down. Eye was STRANGE.

Well, I've posted this numerous times in other threads, but the NHC has been SPOT ON with their track since 5 a.m. this morning. Each position announcement was about 6 nm W of the forecast track. The 2 p.m. our time positoin was 7 nm west of forecast position from 4 a.m. our time this morning.
