Great view. Really brings out the ridge steering the system. Last frame shows the northeast side flattening out.

Also notice the clouds flowing up over Florida & the NE Gulf. Those clouds are not moving west of Apalachiacola. Seems to be "bumbing" into the trough that is dropping se into the NW Gulf from Texas. Could this possibly steer Dennis on a more northerly course and parallel the West Coast of Florida. That would not be good.  ?? Thoughts and comments welcomed.

I don't know enough about how these systems affect the eventual path. I always seem to have trouble seeing the ridges and such when people point them out, but this angle and view made it much easier. Thought it was kinda interesting too how the remnants of Cindy seem to have a slight connection to the moisture traveling up through Fla. from Dennis. Maybe there is a little wake being generated by that? I have very little knowledge compared to most on this board but I'm trying hard to learn. [/quote]

Cool. Do you happen to have a satellite that spans across the majority of the Atlantic? The best ones I can find are just pas 40W but I want one that goes out to like 30W. Know of one? PM me if you got one.
