Extreme flying debris possible in AL

I was talking with some relative in Fairhope last night, they mentioned the
massive piles of debris still stacked all over the place along coastal Alabama.

Since this "stuff" is already broken up pieces, should Dennis make landfall
in Alabama, these objects will serve as missles.

Perhaps this is why the Alabama EOC and Governor are so hard on evacuating such a large area?

At Cat 3 would spread the massive piles of Ivan debris all over the place with horrific results.

Cantore showed some of the giant piles of debris in Pensacola this morning--I had heard they were 20-30 feet high but really couldn't grasp it without seeing them. They are huge. :eek:
