Hes getting better organized too, lots of strong convection around the eye.

Nope, still moving NW. And yes he is getting his act together again. I wouldn't be surprised if this were to restrengthen to a Cat 3.

I see nothing keeping this from becoming a really bad storm again. Is it just me or has the trough relaxed in the western gulf?

He's definately winding back up, and I expect a cat 3 and landfall.

If you look at the long range radar loop from Key West, the NW side of the eye appears pretty empty. Doesn't look like a whole lot of strengthening.

Any predictions on when we can expect this storm to curve around the ridge?
