There is an eye and was seen earlier on infraded images. The reason why you don't see because of the blowup convection over the eye, which is help to intensify the storm. You might be able to see it on visible images though.

80kts is 90mph. This doesn't make sense. Maybe Avila made a mistake.

looking on satellite he seems to be strengthening not weakening, i suspect when i plane goes in it will be stronger

It will most likely be stronger...The eye is becoming better defined.
