I've got a slight headache today for some reason... Monday-Thursday I was fine. Guess my almost spending every waking minute on the computer(8am to Midnight roughly) is catching up... this computer is going to be glad I'm gone tomorrow probably.

All kidding aside last August -Sept , I thought I was getting migraines or had a brain tumor from the headaches.

possible

It's possible! I had a fast, tremendous headache when a forming funnel cloud moved over my house last year. As soon as it was gone, so was the pressure/headache. Very intense, tho!

My head hurts too, because I

1) haven't slept more than 4 hours straight since Cindy hit
2) turn *bleepity bleep* years old tomorrow
3) see the Storm2K message board on the back of my eyelids when I do sleep
4) worry about the damage Dennis is going to do to everyone in its path

Stormie:

Although I suffer with nearly daily headaches from a neck injury, I find the lower pressure from these storms make them much worse. Many of my friends express the same complaints. Of course, the stress and computer time don't help but low pressure is a definite headache maker. You are not suffering alone!!!!

Where is everyones location? I have just started to feel the pressure and feel it mostly in my neck and head. It could of course be stress, but I felt it with Cindy big time. I live in Ft. Walton Beach

I'm glad I'm not alone, but I'm sorry to hear of anyone else feeling bad :(.

Here's my question: on ABC News Tampa's web site, it says that the "Pressure" is 29.94 R. Now, I'm not exactly sure what 29.94 R is, given that (don't laugh) we're always talking about 9xx something pressure...I don't know; I'm sure there's a web site somewhere where I can convert it...but I digress...my point is, I'm sure this is relative, and the pressure around here is ALWAYS 29.something...so, does this mean the "pressure" has not dropped around here yet? (hence, debunking my low pressure headache theory)

Without a doubt the low pressure can cause changes in your body, including headaches... We all have heard about how it can cause a pregnant woman to start labor. Obviously what are you all are suffering from could be a combination of things... lack of sleep... nerves/stress.... low pressure. The other night when T.S. Cindy was moving into this vincinity both my daughter and I had a bad headache. The best remedy like someone had mentioned before is sleep and ibuprofen.. However, if the headache continues after Dennis is done and gone you should get checked by a medical professional!

BTW Happy Birthday tomorrow HurryKane!

Does the drop in pressure ever affect peoples ears also ---- causing pain, dizzyness etc. I'm just curious, because I had ear problems a couple of years ago and would hate to go through that again in the middle of a hurricane
