You've got it! The Republic of Vermont Hurricane Prediction Center has issued a hurricane watch for the northern Champlain Valley. Mandatory evacuation of tourists has begun in North and South Hero islands. There have been multiple requests from other communities in the state, most not in the projected path, to the Governor asking him to order a mandatory evacuation of their tourists, too
