That's a testament to the size of this system.
Flooding in Key West from outer rainbands and the storm itself is well southwest of there, making landfall in Cuba.

Key West Int'l is about 3' above sea level
Duval St. is about 5' above sea level
The highest point in KW is about 18' above sea level
As you can see, the town gets in trouble when it rains...
As an aside, I used to always get a kick out of snowbirds who would ask me if the house had a basement or a well....I guess it is hard to comprehend that if you dig a hole 3' down you are hitting seawater.....
