950 millibars. That is the lowest it has ever been. Before it hit land the first time it was 951 millibars. It has a closed eye.


One other thing is blacks are forming on the cdo. If that wraps its way around. Then this could become a little more then a low end cat4 very fast. It would not be hard for that because the upper level enviroment is extreamly favable. With 90 degree water under it.

Yeah, the 925 and 850 millibar heights in ob 21 are very close to being the lowest we have seen so far ( the 2338Z ob had ones a few meters lower)
