Well I stand totally corrected. I just looked at the 30 frame loop and this thing clearly is going wnw if not almost due west seems that ridge that people were talking about is finally starting to effect it...

The Next Few Hours will tell the tell if it is a wobble or a new trend. If its a new trend then Houston, we have a problem...

That would make for one heck of a peculiar and unlikely track if this were to head towards Houston. Highly unlikely. No matter what, this thing will get sucked up to the North.

Could the Canadian and Ukmet be on to something...

I guess we'll find out next time on...As Dennis Turns

Seriosuly, not calling Houston by any means. Too far west. However areas to N.O need to watch this closely.

Its not going 315 at least in the last few frames, it looked like most here have been agreeing to that.

I'm one of the strong ridge posters but I honestly thought the systen would make it just north of cuba before getting booted west then back wnw ot nw!

Hahahaaha amen to that! However, if we look at the loop, it's certainly moving West at the current time. This isn't just a small wobble.

Actually Scorpion, if you extrapolated and used a due WNW heading, it would hit C to W LA, and would depending on the size would give at least Galveston TS winds possibly..
