I'm assuming, not 100% sure, but from his statement, that he means there should be TS Watches through Broward and up, unless it hits a hard left?

Whatever...I just don't know why Foladar just always has to say that I think everything will come to Naples and nothing to anywhere else..which I don't think, all I said is why I didn't undersatnd with the current projections why the SE Coast had Tropical Storm Warnings....

Because we're "suppose" to get tropical storm weather.

Yea that is kind of weird, I would think maybe watches will be posted up to jupiter by either the 2am advisory or the 5 am advisory

I think that the NHC believes that only the farest southern SE coast will have a real chance of feeling TS conditions and the most northern part that would feel it is Dade county.
This looks to be, from the SE FL perspective; a "Keys Event" with minimal effect for the balance of the East coast sans some rain and a few gusts.
Even when Charley hit SW FL, we had gusts to 35 and no rain in Palm Beach County.
Given the course that "appears" to be coming; a TS Warning may be a stretch for even MIami Dade county.
Now... if it tracks a bit further East, all things change but it appears that this will not occur.
I'll feel better, personally; when the storm is west of 80.2!!!!
The "original" forecast when the storm was first forming in teh SE Carib, was for it to cross Eastern Cuba or the Dominican and come out on the East side of FL. As time has passed it has creeped closer to that prediction. Luckily, for us; it has progressed far enough west to preclude this, but I will reiterate; I will feel better for MY area when it is West of 80.2....
