Saying WNW is one thing, but it just is not happening. I also here on all the local channels that the ridge is w/o doubt weakening. Still can happen, but not as of now.

they say that prolly cuz of the nws and the models...no doubt, if the ridge does not hold and lifts out then yeah..your under the gun..we won't know yet

Yeah...I'm sure we'll be fine here....but it's not looking too good for RP...AGAIN. You know they lost EVERYTHING last year in Ivan...I really hate for her and her family to have to go through another storm.

No, they said they saw it but it never actually occured. During that period the storm moved NW as was evidenced by the latest coordinates.

I'm sorry but it sure looked like a slight west wobble for one frame. But then again I don't have a degree in satellite interpretation, like yourself.

According to dwg71's numbers, Dennis moved more West than North. So does that mean WNW? :lol:

yes but the 1pm coor would be diff.. it was 18.6N by 76.1W, the latest is 76.6 by 19.00.... thats .4 north, and .5 west.... which is WNW regardless of what the nhc says... I can add.

Incorrect. That is closer to NW than WNW.

Yes, you want it to go into New Orleans, we know. WNW is not .4N .5W - it is 1N 1W since 11am, so still same direction so far, can't look at wobbles, have to look at the bigger picture.

isnt icron that you floridians seem to love this movment east....hahaha..2 can play...but, hey...the models will change again..when they relize that the ridge is here to stay...not to mention the one coming in from the great plains
