On the current projected track...
it shows Dennis going over the western part of cuba. If it does not change course wouldn't it be closer to central cuba?

I was just looking at historical tracks across Havanaa area westward in Cuba to see what storm paths most often occurred. It is my very unprofessional observation that *historically* canes that passed to the western part of cuba usually made US landfall Mobile westward. *DISCLAIMER* - this is VERY unofficial and just a quick look of storm tracks from 1965 - present.
I agree with whoever posted that they will be more comfortable with the path of Dennis once it enters the GOM.
