Wow thats along ways from the center. 92 knots winds at 925 millibars. In 84 knots at 850 millibars...

What this means they upgraded it with 79 knots winds at flight level. This thing now has 84 knots winds at almost the same level away from the eyewall. In look at the 925 level holy shoot 92 knots. This thing has a very oreganized cdo. In has started to develop a small eye near the center. Expect a major hurricane soon.

If that is the center, is that not a fairly significant jog to the west?

Alright guys don't laugh, I am trying to figure how to read these recons. When they list the millibars like that is 700 millibars or the lowest number the top of the storm. I am guessing the 980 is at sea level. so the 700 should be towards the top right? thanks for any input

Yes, those are in in order of higher pressure to lower pressure, which is the same as lower alittude to higher alitutde.
