If this storm passes well south of Jamaica, I feel that a much further westward landfall will be a real possibility.

It's only one model freeport...

This person also had Cindy coming into galveston as a cat3...

Still plenty of time to watch Dennis...;)

umm, i dint have cindy coming in anywhere. made no prediction. strong ridge over bahamas, and i am confident it goes south of jamaica, which puts the upper texas coast in jeopardy

Don't take any prediction as a forecast at this point. I say its going into the Central LA Coast, but don't take that as truth either.

Watch this system very closely, but don't panic yet.

No, it was Dennis that she said would be a Cat 3, hitting somewhere from NO to Galveston.

If u looked at there track yesterday (when everyone was arguing between a W and NW movement), it had Dennis close to Hispanola. Its not so close to hispanola now...

I agree, people will see what they want. NHC has not adjusted their path in regards to Jamaica much in 3 days, they had it bisecting Jam and Haiti, and now just brushing coast of Jamaica...

Also, watch the motion of the center....its fairly obvious that its not following a NW track like those little hurricane icons indicate it should be.
