If you live in SoFla...there is nowhere to go....and there is no gas to get there. And even if you "got there" there is no place to stay...LOL.

If there is one thing SoFla's learned during our two hurricanes last year, it is that there is no place to go. We just gotta stay home and hunker down!

It is feasable that a hurricane watch may go up as early as Sat. Morning/afternoon. With a possible Cat. 3 in the SE Gulf, things will have to begin rather promptly to be able to evac if necessary. Don't think they'll take it lightly, nor will the people in N.O. after what they saw with Cindy.

local met in new orleans said watches may go up Saturday morning also they may begin evacuations of Southeast Louisiana IF the storm theatens the area. He said it is too early to tell where the storm will go, but that we should all be prepared just in case. So I guess anyone that lives on the gulf coast should be ready to take precautions as soon as Saturday morning.
