TWC guy is on the beach in Biloxi.Mike something or other.

just got back from the beach... tide looks to be 5-6 ft above normal... there is a 4X4 beam with a sign on it at the end of a drainage pipe in from of my house at the edge of the water, I can shoot a beam of light from the sea wall and it lights up like a firecracker... I've measured the top of the sign to be 6 ft above normal sea level... right now the surge is about a foot below it but it has about 2 ft waves breaking over it... a pretty decent surge for a TS I would imagine... was not blowing hard at all nor very windy... I think perhaps were in the center at the moment..

WLOX just had one guy--can't recall his name--down on the beach. Big waves. Lots of people sitting in their vehicles in the parking lot watching the big waves.

I'd go down to the yacht club and take some video but I'm too lazy.

yeah I hear ya... fortunate for me I just open my door and walk across the street.... if it took any more effort than that I probably would not do it either

Windy here in Pascagoula. Just came back from the beach...road flooding and some people at condo complex have flooding and are stuck .... possibly some cars flooding there too.

thanks for your concern Baygirl... I actually was monitoring that cell on radar at the time and didn't go outside when the weather was pounding us... I waited until it slacked up some.... there is some reason to my insanity

Winds now out of the north. Makes me think the center passed through Harrison, I'm in Woolmarket.

I've been out in the yard taking video of the swaying trees--at one point the wind shifted from north to northeast to east in rapid succession. The umbrella up and died on that one.

Its dead calm right now in Biloxi.... either we're in the center or there is no weather on the west side... I'd guess the max winds we had in my area were near 50 mph best guess..... radar also confirms we're in the center at the moment.... absolutely no damage in my neighborhood that I notice while walking around, very few limbs down too
