Is Dennis forming an eye?

In satellite images it looks as though a small point is becoming visible near the centre. Could this be Dennis forming an eye, or is this likely a transient feature?

I agree...no eye yet.....but I'm willing to bet by this time tomorrow we may very well see one.

Looks like an eye feature but we have to wait a little to make sure it is not cloud movements.

I was noticing that feature as well, but not certain enough it is an eye to post, but visible leans towards it being an eye. Need to see it in a few more shots.

Looks a little less like an eye in the next IR frame. It is however rotating very near the center and he may trying to form an eye. I would say 12 hours from now there will be no question.

It is definitely the beginnings of an eyewall, but I don't think they'll go as far as upgrading it at this time. Winds could be upped to 70 mph. Any upgrade should hold until 11 am at the earliest.

85* and up...

A SIDE NOTE: There is some dry air noted in the NW quadrant of the storm and that has impeded the convection to wrap around symmetrically around it. As long as we have that there, this shouldn't undergo RI (Rapid Intensification).

Our local met was saying it is the beginning of an eye and that he should be a 'cane by this afternoon, if not the 11am advisory....

imho I agree that there should be a distinct one by this afternoon...and it does appear to be tracking slightly south of forecast which could mean Jamaica would be on the strong north side and not the softer south side.
