He Appears to be getting stronger. I really fear that NHC is under-estimating wind strength. I think that at 2AM winds could be raised to at least 60 MPH. Maybe I am wrong, but this is looking like we WILL have a hurricane by tommorow moring, or early Afternoon at the latest. I hope that the entire GOM region gets prepared for a MAJOR HURRICANE!!!
I personally think that the storm may give S. Florida a suprise, so get ready in Ft. Meyers, Miami, and defentaly the Keys. Now I am no trained Metrologist, but I have a gut feeling that this storm could be Charley's mean cousin to finish the job that Charley did last year, I hope my fears are wrong, trust me. But if I am right, this could really get nasty.

No, but thanks! It's time for the Gulf states and the Carolinas to step up to the plate. I still have a major kitchen remodel to do after Charley punched two holes in my roof and left me with two inches of water in my kitchen for four days (until power came back and I could vacuum it up). My mom just got back in her house last week after being out for ten months! We took three majors last year.
Yep .. although my Dad lives right near you in League City, I'll have to say that we don't need Dennis to take "a sharp right!" Besides, it looks like Nawlins is in store for a second episode in a week. God help 'em.
