Denis slowing down and getting stronger

Well it starting to look like Denis is getting stronger and slowing down. It has drop from 20 mph to 16 mph (5 PM - 8 PM) and on satellite it's clearly evident of this slower movement.

Now comes the question whether or not this is temporary or a indicator of the ridge starting to crack.

Time will tell.

Dennis is certainly getting stronger and organized. Latest satellite photos indicate the ridge is still very strong to its North.

I would not be surpized if Dennis stayed left of the hurricane models. Maybe more of a westward to west-northwest track over the next 48 to 60 hours.

Here is proof that Dennis has been heading north of west.

5am fix 12.6 64.4
5pm fix 14.2 68.3

That appears wnw to me!

In the past few hours it has started the more N of W jog...and it's slowing down....FL hope that this ridge holds!

Didn't we just say in 1 of my other threads that if this thing were to slow down it may play a factor in whether Florida gets it? lol :eek:

Even at 16mph.. that suckers' still bookin lol.. But.. it's not 20mph..

lol, so now there is a CONSPIRACY at the nhc.

i'm sorry but i'll take the nhc's better resources and ability to locate a storms center over ANYONE using a cheap half of a tiny radar anyday.

Radar speaks for itself. American or otherwise, they both see the same thing....if u dont accept it then its just denial :roll:

The NHC misplaced the center (Just like I did earlier). They placed it south of where it actually was, thus leading them to think it was moving WNW.... The radar speaks for itself, it tells no lies.

Fine show me on radar a full image letting you see the storm in at least 2/3 of its entirety... so that you canaccurately down to a milimiter pinpoint the centers location on your screen. Meanwhile the nhc has resources well beyond what you do... along with your little radar

I mean come on. Your ignorance only becomes more apparrent with each post. And you still have to show me most of the storm on radar no just a leading edge of the center region at the farthest outer reaches of the radar. lol
