I'm OFF patrol!

After 6 months with Pinetop PD, I'm OFF patrol and have been promoted to the CI Unit :woo: Criminal Investigations ROCKS. No more ENDLESS hours of DRIVING and TOTALLY TRASHING what's LEFT of my back! Now it's STREET CLOTHES, badge on my belt with my sidearm, NO MORE 60 LB. DUTY BELT :woo:

Hey...hey...hey! Great news Dennis.

Now you can put all your forensics to work. Think of all the crimes that involve timing and weather factors. You could become a professional CSI with an eye for "the weather factor!"

I figured something was up. You were back on here at S2k too much for a guy in a patrol car/

Do you still have to carry that "piece-of-(expletive unsaid)" 9mm Glock, or can you now bring out the 6" barrel, 357 Magnum "Big Bertha"? :?:

I'm not sure to real honest! I just got the news yesterday and I was off. From what I've seen, the other detectives carry the dept issue. NOW....I didn't tell ya, Michelle, for Fathers Day bought me a Ruger 9mm, a DAM sight better than the Glock! :wink:

Thanks for ALL the well wishes, it's been a LONG time coming, those 6 months on patrol seemed like 6 YEARS, still enjoyed it though! I still have one more semester to go (starts next WEEK as a matter of fact :cry: :lol: ) but with my GPA I'm guessing, they decided to go ahead and make the move.

Dennis, I'm soooooooooooo proud of you and so glad your back can have a rest. Those car seats are not pleasant on those discs!!!!!!
