I just hope its not Florida's turn when August and September roll around when the big "ones" start rolling in.

It seems like you're just obsessed with making sure the storm wont hit Florida, you know there is always a chance and it's really moving WNW now. I'm not saying your opinion doesn't matter, but you have been continually COMPLETELY disregarding the fact that a Florida Panhandle or West Coast landfall is possible, which it is, more so for a Panhandle strike.

....And I can say you seem obsessed with it hitting Florida. You completely disregard any chance of it being a LA storm. IN MY OPINION, it wont be a Florida storm.

I just dont see it passing north of Jamaica...just my opinion.[/quote]

new convection firing over the center ...

#114 Postby Weatherboy1 » Tue Jul 05, 2005 4:25 pm

the past hour or two, Dennis has managed to build some more impressive convection over his LLC. That's been a missing factor for most of today in terms of strengthening. If this persists, Dennis could strengthen faster than anticipated.

Funny thing is I never called for a Houston landfall.

I called for a LA landfall, you should read more carefully.

Don't worry, we won't see a landfalling Hurricane in our lifetime.

This is unacceptable....can you call the powers that be and see about fixing that...if we go another year without something landfalling near here, I'm going to have to find another hobby...maybe water polo....

cheers,
