Cindy is really winding up.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Cindy is really winding up.

Looking at the latest loop it looks like
Cindy is really winding up as she approaches the
LA. coastline. I would not be surprised to see her
winds upped to 70mph before landfall.

If that western side could only find a way to wrap around, she'd be a pretty storm.

Her cloud shield is getting spread out quickly. That dry air is moderating and the shear is lessening.

Could have said the same thing about Arlene... just too much dry air.

I still think she will make a minimal hurricane by landfall. IT's gonna be
CLOSE.

Looks a lot better that Arlene did, but that's not saying much. There's some powerful thunderstorms working their way onto the coast now. There's a tornado warning for Hancock and Harrison Counties now in MS. That includes Diamondhead.....heads up DH!
