Looks like Cindy's trending a hair east of North now...

It may just be some blowoff, but that's the visible loop. Look at the burst north of where the center is and it's all building a bit more east of due north. If it's a trend, maybe 05 degrees at this point.

I could be wrong of course :)

Could be steve but she's still pretty asymetrical and could just be the east side blowing up..time will tell :D

agreed, i think it (center) could hit near Buras, LA and then head to MS/AL border

How ya doin Steve? Just made the trip from Biloxi to Pensacola a few hours ago. I woke up at my hotel in Biloxi this morning to a very nice squall sitting off the coast. I was impressed. Im just now becoming aware of all the activity going on. Hope you get some good rain and winds from this one.

Doing good Droop & sucking down a couple of cold ones. If you missed it last night, the Vipir model, which seems to be doing pretty good with the track, had some tightening @ secondary landfall which put some gusts fairly close to you. You should get a pretty nice tropical day out of Cindy over there in P'cola.

So far, the only significant rains have been over extreme SE LA.
East of a line from NOLA to Grand Isle.

I agree...she does seem to have taken a bit more easterly course which is fine with me! If this continues, I'll have sunshine :D Seriously, I think she'll come onshore just east of Grand Isle.

Then again, if the center is where I think it is (see just above the inflow on the SW side), then she's still moving pretty much due north per the Visible Floater Loop.
