CV season offically commenced?
Does Dennis mark the emergence of the CV season? Are there any other systems currently set up to follow Dennis?

Cape Verde season has not started yet as Dennis although formed from a wave emerging Africa it got it's act together close to the islands. To be a true Cape Verde system it has to form east of 40w.

Exactly, but what makes this season especial is that all 4 tropical systems have developed from tropical waves, none of them have subtropical or extratropical origens.

Thanks for the info.
Are the models hinting at any other systems following Dennis anywhere?

There is one, I think GFS, but not sure, that is trying to develop a CV system, lets wait and see. For now, there's not too much model support.
