Well... if it is a TD, it just regained that technical status.

Tell you what, TD 4 (oh, I mean that area of low pressure in the eastern Caribbean) looks much better than TD 3. Though, I agree, TD 3 may be regaining its circulation now. It's probably better organized now than it was when it was called a TD yesterday, though that's not saying much.

Yup, I would have to agree there. 97L is really impressive.

97L does look impressive this evening, but many a system has looked impressive moving into the region only to degenerate after passing the islands.

Cold hard surface obs. at the islands will determine if and when this is upgraded and I suspect that is what NHC is awaiting, just to make sure a LLC does in fact exists. Visible images appear to show a LLC with convection near and over that center.

I have yet to see a west or NW wind on any of the islands, and the obs are fairly weak except in the squalls.

Has anybody else noted a west or N wind in the last 5 hours??

Here are a few screenshots I snapped of the system. There's a clear low level circulation moving through the islands:

Given the above data there for sure is a LLC. It is weak but it is there. Thanks WX
