Indeed. I've got a bit of a wine buzz at the moment while the old lady is asleep. It also means I've got the computer. FWIW, the VIPIR, when it showed the purples, had most of them clustered in a 3/4 circle from the N around to the SW side of the circulation as it got stronger for the MS landfall. In any event Frank, you'll probably see some tropical downpours. It's hot and muggy here with various cloud layers moving by. I'll try to get some reports in later.

i have a wine buzz too before we head over to lauderdale by the sea for fireworks. i am running the jlauderdal model while i am gone and will report back upon my return. also shot off a bunch of fireworks to let the neighbors know i have returned from marathon.

LOL J. As a UW grad, no doubt other things besides the fireworks will be sparking ;).

The 18z GFS is out and shows the bulk of the weather from 3 impacts MS and AL (and extreme Eastern LA and Western FL) followed by #4 (whether that's Cindy, Dennis or whatever, you can decide for yourself). Central Gulf Coast obviously has some July issues to deal with.

And from the looks of things, the "Ivanators" from '04 ought to be feeling about the same - they're gonna need a few bottles, me thinks.
