"TD#3" Outer Squalls Clearly Visible on Radar

#1 Postby Sean in New Orleans » Mon Jul 04, 2005 2:09 pm

Now, we can truly watch the storm move and once we see the center, there will be no argument where she is going. "Cindy" is moving at a decent clip and will be somewhere off of Louisiana's coast in 36 to 48 hours, IMO, with rains and squalls approaching much sooner...

Yep, and it looks like we'll get more rain from this than we did Arlene
(which was NONE)

I hope this stays off the coast till after 9:00 so everyone on the coast can get their fireworks shows done.....the Cities spend a lot of money on these things...

Hope your right DH.We didn't get diddly from Arlene.Looking at radar looks like most of the rain is headed to FL panhandle for now.

Yeah, first squal line/outer band is down in lower Plaquemines Parish, LA with some related rainfall almost to Bay County, FL.

Depending on the N-NNW-NW eventual movement will depend on the bulk of the weather with 3. It's going to have a rainy eastern side somewhere between Terrebonne Parish, LA and Escambia/Santa Rosa Co's., FL.
